Good time in OB with these guys yesterday. As the season is coming to an end, we are trying to get the most out if evey trip. I'm sure we'll see them next year.

Took a ride down to Tarpaulin Cove yesterday to scope it out. It's located on Naushon Island, about 5 miles southwest of Woods Hole, roughly an hour's ride from Cotuit on the Bad Fish. Naushon is a private island owned by the Forbes Family and is off-limits, except for Tarpaulin Cove, where you're welcome to enjoy the beach and take a walk up to the historic lighthouse. The cove is only accessible by boat, which keeps the crowds away and makes its beaches as secluded as you can find on the Cape. The island and cove hold a wealth of history dating back to the 1600s. Many ships have wrecked in and around the cove, with evidence washing up on the beaches. It was a great trip on a great day. If anyone is interested in a day trip to Tarpaulin Cove in the 2026 season on the Bad Fish from Cape Cod Sea Excursions, you'll have a blast and see and enjoy a unique part of the Cape that not everyone knows exists.
