"First and foremost I want to thank my incredible team at Visit Oak Grove, KY ! They are Britnee Ohman Amanda Baker Travers Scarlett Mayfield Melissa Poe Oden Samii Knutt Shawna Herndon Owen An Sherry Chilton Bryan Moore Lee PuertoricanPapi Joushua and although Kyle Moyers don't work for OG Tourism he is still a big part of the team. They all worked so hard to make sure everything was perfect for all who attended and I must say they achieved their goal! Saturday was absolutely awesome and well.... Sunday (absolutely not their fault) due to the weather...it did NOT want to cooperate. With that being said. I say this 👇

I understand the disappointment surrounding the decision I made to shut down the festival early today (Sunday, May 24) due to the heavy rain and unsafe muddy conditions. Please know this was not a decision I made lightly. The safety of our attendees, vendors, volunteers, entertainers, and my team will always come first to me.
This award winning festival take months of planning, hard work, and heart from my incredible team. While negative comments can be discouraging, we ask for understanding and grace when weather creates circumstances beyond anyone’s control.

We are incredibly thankful for everyone who still came out, supported the event, and worked tirelessly through difficult conditions. Rain may have slowed us down, but it will never stop the spirit of my team...team Oak Grove Tourism!

Thank you to those who continue to support and uplift our Spring into Summer Festival Salutes Fort Campbell even when things do not go as planned. We look forward to coming back stronger, and better than ever next year.

Safety is our number one priority when it comes to our festivals. We are always rain or shine and we were able to hold out as long as possible before the rain became flood zones and put our patrons at risk of getting injured. We hate to close early and we hope to see everyone next year! I hope you all understand and we do apologize for any inconvenience.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Good Afternoon Spring Into Summer Festival Salutes Fort Campbell fans! Unfortunately, weather stations are projecting that the rain will continue for a few more hours. Our park is already flooding. Unfortunately, we are having to cancel the rest of today's festivities. We are so sorry and hope to see you all back next year.
