Finished putting the helm back together tonight, all the teak trim and window adjusters are back on then closed up and resealed the B pillar.

Literally just down to finish buffing the Starboard side and the gel coat repair and we are ready to get back at it 😎

It's been a long 🫏 winter and ready to get to get back on the water and see everyone again this spring

Heading to Special-Eyes headquarters in a few weeks to help the bossman with the other 4 boats to get them ready - Gotta go help get his boat rigged so he don't take mine back 🤣

Looking forward to seeing everyone in just a little over a month 😀

Early Spring in the Western Basin usually means a higher concentration of larger fish, as the pre spawn females stack up in the shallows to get ready to spawn. Lorain 2025? Who is in? 😁 Myself and Lyle Behner are officially planning on going back to Lorain next season with the Special-Eyes 1 boat running Steelhead & Walleye combo trips for 1-6 person groups out of Oasis Marina (same location). The 2 months we spent down there this season was absolutely incredible and can not wait to get back down there next year chasing after this acrobatic/ tackle busting silverfish along with the insane Walleye fishing that we experienced down there this year. These are 100% hands on Trolling Trips and we are generally out for the entire day - 8 hours * 6am to 2pm dock to dock. Steelhead fishing is like salmon fishing in most cases and we cover a lot of water hunting them down, catching Walleye while we are on the hunt. Steelhead limits while we are running trips is 5 per person with a 12" minimum and Walleye are 6 per person with a 15" minimum. It is not uncommon to hook up with 30 steelhead on a single trip, getting them to the net is the challenge and fun part 😀 Call * Text * PM for any questions or to book your trip.
