JULY 1, 2024 โข FIREWORKS TRAFFIC NOTICE

We are excited to be just over 2 weeks away from โฑ๐ฉ๐ฌ๐จ๐ช๐ฏ ๐ซ๐จ๐โฑ, now celebrating the Townโs 25th Anniversary!
As usual, the day will end in our biggest and best โจ๐ญ๐ฐ๐น๐ฌ๐พ๐ถ๐น๐ฒ๐บ ๐ซ๐ฐ๐บ๐ท๐ณ๐จ๐โจfrom the OKI Pier - so please help us start spreading the word NOW about these important Post-Firework Traffic Reminders:
๐ ๐ผ๐บ๐ฌ ๐ฉ๐ถ๐ป๐ฏ ๐ฉ๐น๐ฐ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐บ: even if you are returning to our neighboring Southport, using the Swains Cut Bridge and double lanes of E.F. Middleton Blvd can actually make for a faster Island exit!
๐บ ๐บ๐ป๐จ๐ ๐ถ๐ต ๐ถ๐จ๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐บ๐ณ๐จ๐ต๐ซ ๐ซ๐น๐ฐ๐ฝ๐ฌ: trying to make "shortcuts" out of Beach Dr., Yacht Dr., or Ocean Dr. only slows everything down when you eventually have to merge back into traffic later.
๐ต ๐จ๐ฝ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ซ ๐ซ๐ฐ๐บ๐ป๐น๐จ๐ช๐ป๐ฐ๐ถ๐ต๐บ: keep traffic moving and pay attention to the road ahead! Let someone else handle posting all of those "amazing-and-totally-not-like-everyone-else's" fireworks pics.
๐ฒ ๐ท๐จ๐ฐ๐ซ ๐ท๐จ๐น๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ will ๐๐๐ be charged during this event
๐ ๐จ๐ณ๐ณ ๐ท๐จ๐น๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ is โfirst come, first servedโ - so no โreservingโ or holding public spaces please!
๐ง ๐ถ๐ช๐ฌ๐จ๐ต ๐ซ๐น๐ฐ๐ฝ๐ฌ will be ๐๐๐๐๐๐ at ๐:๐๐ ๐๐ from Barbee Blvd. to Keziah St.
๐ ๐ถ๐ญ๐ญ๐ฐ๐ช๐ฌ๐น๐บ will be at all intersections to help keep the flow of traffic moving, so please stay alert and follow their directions.
If we all pay attention, have a little patience, and use a little kindness, we can all get home in a safe & swift fashion!
