A spectacular morning with the forest residents! 🙌

Tracking down elusive raptors requires patience, a quiet step, and a lot of luck—but moments like this reward it all. Getting to witness this Northern Spotted Owl family sharing a mossy branch was absolutely breathtaking. The two owlets are at that perfect, impossibly fluffy stage!

📢 Pygmy Owl Season Update

Pygmy Owl season is almost over, and I expect to end tours by the end of June due to the upcoming heat wave.

You can still see the owls, but photography conditions may not be ideal as the hot weather can reduce activity and affect image quality.

🦉 Tours are available on Sundays only.
💲 $350 per person per day.
👥 Maximum 2 people per tour.
🚗 Pickup in Oakland at 6:00 AM and drop-off at 6:00 PM.

And remember:

🦉 NO OWL, NO MONEY! 🦉

If we don’t find a Pygmy Owl, you don’t pay.
