Okay fishing enthusiasts here’s the latest report from Captain Ron:
“Lake Lanier is fishing about as good as you could ask for right now.
Water temperatures are now in the mid 70s and the lake is clear pretty much everywhere. We’ve got warm weather to start the week with some good chances of rain later in the week, which should help keep things moving in the right direction.
The good news? You can catch fish doing just about anything right now. Early in the morning, fish are feeding up and giving anglers a lot of opportunities before transitioning deeper as the sun gets higher. We’re continuing to focus on points where the creek or river channel swings in close, and those areas are holding fish consistently.
A few quick takeaways this week:
• Late spring patterns are in full effect
• Early mornings continue to be strong
• Fish are setting up around points near deep water access
• There are multiple productive patterns right now
