Our two sweet little ghost friends, Sarah and Anna, who are 6 and 8 years old love sweets. They especially love soft caramels. Tonight we brought them a new sweet treat, a peppermint flavored ribbon candy and according to the activity on the EMF reader, they loved it!

The tour hits paranormal hot spots in town. None of the ghosts we may encounter are malevolent. You may get touched, feel cold spots or even be spoken to by unseen persons. Picture taking is encouraged! Many guests have captured compelling paranormal evidence while on tour.

Ghost enthusiasts! I had to share this fantastic ghost photo captured on my Haunted Pub Crawl by patron Sammie Vats! In this post, you will see 2 photo comparisons of resident spirit, Anna. She is 8 years old and is from the 1840's. She lives along with 2 other spirits, Sarah and Sam at Madigan's in Occoquan. Big thank you to Sammie for sharing this with me, but also to Madigan's for always being so kind to allow us access to speak to the spirits that live there.

Have you ever wondered what your aura would look like if you could paint it? Want to find out?

This Sunday in conjunction with Swords Brooms and Magical Beasts, artist Kevin from and I will be having Aura Painting classes. Kevin will teach you how to paint pour your artwork on canvas, the colors of the chakras, and then I will "read" your auras from the colors that appear in your paint. This is a unique way to create artwork that is truly a self expression! Sessions are still available. At 5:30 that day we are doing the Haunted History Walking Tour and hanging out with some of our favorite town spirits.

Is it paranormal activity?...Perhaps. It is definitely highly unusual. 406 Mill Street, former home to The Spot On Mill Street and home to one of my favorite ghosts in town, Hortence Ellicott, has been empty and dark since New Years Day.

Last night when leaving on the Haunted Pub Crawl, we walked past the building and it was just as dark and quiet as it always is. Around 9pm, Cindy heads back to the gallery ahead of the rest of the group and noted the house was still dark. 9:30, myself and several other tourees headed back to the gallery and..you guessed it, still dark. 10:30pm, my tourees have finished shopping and I'm locking the gallery up and I see it...a single, bright light emanating from Hortence's bedroom!

Sure, it could have been a workman returning late to pick up a forgotten tool. Or maybe the owners installed a timer for security...But I remember Hortence being a wiz at manipulating lights, on and off or flashing, she could do it all. We even have video footage of a light in the hallway staying on during a town wide power outage.

Perhaps Hortence was up late composing some of her poetry, or even leaving a light on for me to help me find my way in the dark. Either way, be it ghost or be it coincidence..it's interesting and worth keeping an eye on. 🤔

We recently met a new spirit, Chelsea Cefai a young lady from the 1780's, who still sells her mother's apples at the Mill Street Draft Garden, from when the site was an open air market. She's a wiz at manipulating anything electrical, like the EMF readers and the lights in the courtyard.

Jeremy Barber, owner of the Draft Garden, says these lights are not motion activated and have to be turned on from the trailer. Shortly after I finished recording, a staff member demonstrated this by walking up to the lights just as Chelsea turned them off on him!
