Planning to visit ATLANTIS 2004? In addition to information found in our virtual guestbook (https://hostful.ly/gxqhdmt) and your rental agreement, here are some additional highlights to help you and your family plan a successful beach vacation.
All beds are already outfitted with bedspreads and pillows, but you'll need to bring sheets and pillowcases for 1 queen sized bed, 1 full sized bed, 1 twin sized bed, and 1 queen sized sofa bed. You may also want to bring a warm blanket for each bed, depending on the time of year.
The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, silverware, toaster, air fryer, blender, coffee pot, Keurig, etc... most everything you may need during your stay. However, you'll still need to provide your own towels (bathroom and beach), washcloths, hand towels, pot scrubbers, trash bags, toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, napkins, bathroom sprays (NO FEBREZE PRODUCTS PLEASE), hand soaps, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, and dryer sheets. We also recommend bringing a cooler with a few ice packs, in order to haul away any unused refrigerated items upon departure.
In case you forget any of the above items, you might consider stopping at a Walmart on your way down (in Cambridge MD, Georgetown DE, or Rehoboth Beach DE), or picking up these items at a smaller department store near the ATLANTIS such as Peebles, Roses, or TJ Maxx. There are also two large supermarkets located within a mile of the condo.
After checking in with the security office and placing your parking pass in your vehicle, feel free to use the white moving bins (located in the elevator lobby) to help transport items from your car to the condo located on the 20th floor. Just be careful to not bang into the walls as you wheel the bin(s) into and out of the unit.
When you reach the unit note that the front doork**b to the condo doesn't turn like a traditional k**b - you'll need to push the door open while turning the key. It's designed to always remain locked, so be sure to take your key with you whenever exiting, even if just dropping a bag down the trash chute. Please dispose of anything larger than a kitchen trash bag directly into the dumpsters next to the Security Office.
The condo has DirecTV in the living room and the master bedroom. The DirecTV channel package includes nearly 200 high-definition channels for your viewing pleasure. The 2nd bedroom does not have DirecTV or cable, but is equipped with a Fire Stick. The living room TV is also equipped with Google Chromecast (HDMI2 input). There is a DVD player connected to the living room TV. There are also a few DVDs located in the entertainment center.
If the ATLANTIS pool is open (usually Memorial Day until mid-October) and you'd like to go for a swim, be sure at least one person in your group has their pool pass.
There are puzzles and games in the condo to enjoy during inclement weather.
If visiting during colder months, bring clothes warm enough to enjoy at least a few walks on the beach. As you look at the forecasted temperatures, the beach will likely feel about 10-15 degrees below those listed for Ocean City, due to the wind and temperature of the ocean water, especially when the sun goes down. Hats, gloves, wind-breaker jackets, along with robes and slippers for inside, are essential items during the wintertime.
