After a several weeks long window installation and trim delay, we were finally able to install the kitchen backsplash and some pretty wallpaper in the dining room. Top of the windows will get finished soon then on to window treatment decisions. It has been a long but very worthwhile process. We love the new space!

New kitchen project update! Not quite done yet but it somehow feels like it was always supposed to be this way. We're almost there...trim work to be completed, beam and post to be wrapped and stained, cabinet hardware to be installed, light to be hung, and tile to be chosen and installed. Which tile is your favorite?

Our little kitchen project is coming along! All new floors were installed last week and countertops came today! I picked this quartz because it reminds me of oyster shells. Its lighter in person and a little sparkly too - tough to capture in photos! There is hardware to install and a light over the island. Now we have to decide on backsplash tile.

Cabinets have arrived! Still a long way to go, but lots of hard work has been done so far.

Kitchen reno progress...we can now see how open it will be!

We have waited over 8 years to tackle this project...a new kitchen is at long last in the works! The old one served us very well, but she was tired! Stay tuned for progress pics.
