There are benefits to riding a bicycle, instead of driving, to commute. One is cutting through local parks and seeing the wildlife. This was yesterday on the way to work.

Made it to and it was a LONG day! Left about 9am, took the train to , hopped on the 12pm ferry, rode 22 miles, stopped for a late lunch (which I just ate about an hour ago, between 4 - 5pm). Set up my tent. And now thinking of taking a walk. I'm beat, but don't think I can sleep yet.

Made it to on my first day of Tomorrow, I'll hop on the train, (about a mile from here) to the in Diego then I plan on taking the ferry to then about a 22 mile to Park then on the 3rd day (Friday), I'll ride straight to the Santa Fe Depot (which I think is about 14 miles) and head to Oceanside. Depending on how I feel, I may get picked up in Oceanside instead of riding the 9 miles home

Rode 35 miles today. Was only planning 30, but felt good at my original 15 mile turnaround point. I knew 17 miles one way would get me to the State Park in going to camp at in May. So I went to check it out and got a picture of it and other pictures on the way, including a snake I saw.
