There is a high sneaker wave threat this weekend, March 8 & 9. Waves will run up farther on beaches and could sweep people off their feet and into the ocean. Avoid climbing on rocks, jetties, or logs and never turn your back on the ocean!

This will likely go down as some of the highest surf this winter, and that means dangerous conditions on Oregon and SW Washington beaches today. Stay away from logs and debris, and keep your eyes on the waves. Your best bet is to keep a safe distance from beaches and jetties.
