One of my favorite places to visit to teach my children the true meaning of Memorial Day is Fort Rosecrans in Point Loma, San Diego 🇺🇸

You are truly walking on hallowed ground as you see the tombstones of the members of the US forces that fought in WWI, WWII, Korean War, Vietnam etc.

The cemetery is stunning on the cliffs that overlook San Diego Bay and is a fitting memorial to their sacrifice and service.
