Built in 2018, it was designed to be as maintainence-free as possible with cedar shake siding and PVC trim exterior. Functional storm shutters. Located on an oversized lot (7500 sq. ft.) and within walking distance to everything. "After Math" has an open kitchen/living area with many windows providing plenty of light, professional grade Pergo floors throughout, beadboard and shiplap walls and ceilings, handcrafted door and window frames, four mini-split heat and a/c units, "on-demand" gas hot water heater and ceiling fans. Full kitchen with granite countertops, large farmhouse sink, dishwasher, stand alone stove hood, stainless steel appliances, bar seating and a desk area. Large bathroom with double sinks with marble countertops, walk-in shower, separate toilet area and stacked washer/dryer. Outdoor spaces include front covered deck, gracious (12' x 16') furnished screened porch facing the back yard, picnic table/grilling area, fully enclosed hot and cold outdoor shower, gravel driveway with extra parking for a boat, and a river rock area underneath the home. Whether you're looking for a vacation rental or primary home, "After Math" is a great choice! Due to the low ceiling height (6' in the center), the loft is not included in the heated square footage.

Sunrise this morning at Lifeguard Beach on Ocracoke Island. Almost no one there, not too cold. Just me, my hot coffee, a few dolphins and LOTS of birds! A glorious morning!

Sunsets are beautiful on Ocracoke in the winter too! Just grab your hot chocolate and blanket this time of the year!
