THIS IS OGDEN, TOO: WARNING: Parental Advisory-
This weekend I attended one of the most Ogden, Ogden party. Why do I say this? I’ll break it down.
1. Took place in a backyard.
2 the backyard is beautifully landscaped
3. The landscape include natural plants, multiple ponds, turtles, ducks, koi fish etc.
4. Separate gazebos and gathering spaces.
5. All done by hand and with reclaimed materials by the owner himself. (I imagine along with his wife)
6. There’s a bus turned into a camper.
7. A hodgepodge of people, including a 95 year old grandma there to see her 40 something year old grandson play.
All of the creates a magically serene environment and then…
8. A heavy metal band starts ripping a song called “Dirt Bikes and Fist Fights.”
lol you can’t make this up. Ogden is going to Ogden every dog gone time.
When we consider what Ogden is, let’s not forget or dismiss this element, that also defines this community’s authentic character.
