Hey My Beach Friends!!! The weather has been so unpredictable lately but I wanted to remind you of the Beach Flags. These are VERY important, first and foremost we want your vacation to be safe and filled with only good memories. PLEASE, head to the beach flag warnings! I know we are technically in Okaloosa County but the Miramar site has information that is closer to our area--Text SAFETY to 31279 for surf conditions to be sent to your phone as they do change throughout the day.

'Twas the night before Nesting Season, when all through the beaches
Not a creature was stirring, not even a ghost crab;
The Turtle Patrol backpacks were hung by the door with care,
In hopes that sea turtles soon would be nesting there;
The Turtle Patrol Volunteers were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of hatchlings danced in their heads...
