Headed home- first leg of a two day trip to get back to OKC.

Today blew everything out of the water.
We saw it all! Leopards, lions, elephants, cape buffalo, crocodiles, hippos, hyeneas, giraffes, jackals, and lots of gorgeous bird species.
But the craziest thing was catching an elephant swimming. We watched it for a long time. Diving, going back to the bank, then coming back for more. It ended up swimming to the middle of the river where there’s an island of grass.
So much fun!
We also watched a baby elephant nursing. Such an unforgettable moment.
I have great videos to share but not enough capability out here on the river to get them posted.

We head home tomorrow.

Victoria Falls will blow you away.💯
No matter what you think you know about it. No matter what you expect. It’s going to exceed everything you know or have in your minds eye.
Our day today began with those amazing falls. I could go on and on about it but you just have to see it for yourselves.
THEN our new friend Charles from Acacia Holidays (our hosts on this wonderful adventure) bungee jumped off of the bridge!
Then we had a fantastic lunch at the Overlook.
Then we had an incredible sunset cruise on the Zambezi river.
It was a day to top all days. A truly spectacular day. ❤️
Tomorrow- helicopter tour over the river and falls, then on to Botswana.
Oh- we went to Zambia today, too 🤗🎉 ✅
