Several months ago when first establishing this FB page, it was initially with a different goal in mind. Every since witnessing the effects that tragedies in my own life had on first responders and those around me, I wanted to create an opportunity to heal and unplug from it. Then last week after watching the wildness of an F4 tornado blow through a hometown neighborhood of mine on TV, I decided to reach out to some people with unique abilities and a willingness to provide resources for those who lost their homes.
After calling the owner of Wade's RV, he immediately offered to help these efforts by providing exclusive resources for those in need of temporary shelter on their property while the clean-up and rebuilding process takes place. To simplify and centralize these efforts, I am volunteering to coordinate these services locally with those families. If you were impacted by the tornado in Enid, OK last week and would be interested in utilizing a travel trailer or fifth wheel in the interim, please feel free to reach out through this FB page for more information and I will be able to provide my direct contact information to discuss how I can hopefully help.
Potential transport of campers and generator use can be made available. Additionally if anyone has additional resources along these lines or would like to contribute to the camper items necessary for any of these families, I'm happy to help assist however I can.
I've recently reached out and left messages for the local Red Cross but I'm certain they've been very busy already helping those in need. Feel free to pass this information on as needed.
