Great Lakes Fishing Charters Hi, my name is Andy Bartlett. I am a US Coast Guard Licensed Charter Captain. I have spent my life on or near the water, around boats and fishing.

I love the water and I love fishing. I enjoy sharing the water and fishing with others so running a Charter business is a natural thing for me to do. Whether you are a parent or Grandparent with kids, 2 parents with kids, single or together with other people, fishing is a fun and interesting thing to do and the Great Lakes are a great place to do it. I specialize in having a fun, interactive day w

ith people from all walks and ways of life. Depending on the time of year I do trips on Lake Ontario for Trout and Salmon, Lake Erie for Walleye, The Finger Lakes and The Upper and Lower Niagara River. I like taking people out on the water who have never been fishing before as much as I like fishing Tournaments with passionate anglers. I like answering questions about fishing and I like listening to the life stories of people who come on the boats. So, reach out and let me help you to have a great day on the water.

Capt Ron’s Ontario Report 5/17: Kings and Coho Salmon a little bit more spread out now. This will be the beginning of the end of the Lake Ontario Spring Salmon bite as water warms and the ‘transition’ to June blahs begins. We will be on Cayuga Lake, switching to jigging Trout in June. By early July a different Lake Ontario Salmon bite with bigger 3 year old fish with the addition of Steelhead will set up and we will be back on Ontario. - Text (607) 371 3532 to get in on Finger Lakes action in June or Lake Ontario in July

Capt Ron’s Lake Ontario report 5/4/26: The LOC Spring Derby has started, bringing hordes of fishermen to the region from Olcott to the outlet of the Niagara River onto the Niagara Bar. By design this derby coincides with the season’s first big push of prespawn baitfish into the rapidly warming water . Consequently Pelagic species begin to congregate and the ‘Salmon Season‘ begins.
