☀️🦆 One More BIG Summer Weekend in Old Forge! 🎆
What a beautiful day to be in Old Forge! The weather couldn’t be better, and we’ve got a full day of Adirondack fun waiting for you! 🌲❤️

🦆 Today is CAP-PY Duck Race Day! The celebration kicks off around 10:30 AM with music, fun, and a last chance to get your ducks. Then at NOON, watch the fleet make its splash at the Covered Bridge! 🌊🦆

But don’t head home just yet! 😉

🎶 Tonight: Live music begins at the lakefront at 7 PM
🚗 Around 8:30 PM: The car drawing
🎆 After dark: Fireworks light up the Old Forge sky!

It’s the perfect way to spend a beautiful Adirondack day and give summer one BIG send-off! 🌞🌲🎶

🏃‍♀️ Old Forge Marathon Weekend returns September 10–13, bringing four days of running, biking, kayaking and Adirondack adventure! Choose from the 50K Ultra, Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K or 5K, plus several unique challenges.

🍁 With beautiful trails, fall beginning to make its appearance, and plenty to explore around town, next weekend is another great reason to make Old Forge your Adirondack destination!

🇺🇸 LABOR DAY WEEKEND IN OLD FORGE! 🇺🇸
Three days, plenty of ways to have fun, and absolutely no excuse to sit around! 😎 From farmers markets and art to live music, duck racing, fireworks and more, Old Forge is the place to be this Labor Day Weekend!

🎨 FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 4
🧺 Farmer’s Market • 1–5 PM • North Street
Fresh goodies, local finds and all the market vibes!
🖌️ National Watercolor Exhibit • 10 AM–4 PM • VIEW
Take in some beautiful artwork.
🎨 17th Annual Plein Air Paint Out • Friday & Saturday
Artists will be out painting throughout Old Forge. Keep an eye out, you might catch one in action!

🦆 CAP-PY Duck Derby Ticket Sales
Pick up your tickets at the Old Forge Information Center and get ready to cheer on your duck!

See the artists’ work and maybe take home a one-of-a-kind piece!

🎶 Concerts at the Lakefront: Catch-22 is ON! 🎶
We’re keeping our fingers crossed for a beautiful evening at the lakefront! 🌤️ The rain is expected to move out by show time, so we believe we'll be able to have our concert.
Tonight we have Catch-22, a new band featuring some longtime local players and fronted by Katie Keating. Get ready for a fun mix of classic rock, blues, Americana and jam-band favorites with music inspired by Fleetwood Mac, Van Morrison, the Rolling Stones, the Grateful Dead, Grace Potter and more. 🎸🎶
Bring your chair, grab a friend and come enjoy some great live music by the lake!
🌧️ We are monitoring the weather closely. As of now, the concert is still on, but if the rain decides to do its thing and we have to cancel, we’ll post an update here. Keep an eye on our page for any changes!
