Short-term rentals are part of Connecticut’s tourism economy.
House Bill 5536 would create a simple statewide registry, giving towns visibility, supporting fair competition, and helping ensure guest safety.
If you believe in a level playing field and informed communities, now is the time to support this bill.

A bill before lawmakers would establish a statewide registry for short-term rental properties and give municipalities the option to impose an additional tax on those stays.
