What an unforgettable week at the Super Bowl of Swine! 🐖🔥
This year was special for us as we had the honor of competing in the INAUGURAL Open Fire competition with our Carnivore Carnival team after earning our invitation last fall in Hondo, TX. To stand among some of the best live fire cooks in the world was already an incredible accomplishment… but to battle our way into FINALS as 1 of the TOP 4 teams made the experience even more surreal. When the smoke cleared, we were stoked to bring home 🥈 2nd Place!
We also earned 🥈 2nd Place in the Turkey Smoke category with an even tie for 1st place, proving just how razor-thin the margins are at this level of competition.
And then there’s Whole Hog - we finished 14th this year, marking the first time in nearly a decade that we haven’t cracked the Top 10. Of course that stings a little, because we hold ourselves to a high standard, but we’re grateful to still be competing at the highest level of the sport we love.
We were honored to attend a Celebration of Life for our brother Ricky Bobby, sharing stories, laughs, and memories with so many people whose lives he impacted.
Another highlight was spending time at the The Home Depot Outdoor Kitchen demoing our products. There’s nothing better than seeing folks experience our seasonings firsthand and hearing their excitement about what we’re creating.
And if the week wasn’t already exciting enough, we were presented with custom Gateway Drum Smokers designed to replicate each of our seasoning labels - truly one-of-a-kind pieces that absolutely blew us away. We got to officially reveal TWO brand new products that will soon be hitting store shelves near you! 👀🔥
