I spent some time lately learning the difference between a good itinerary and a once-in-a-lifetime experience in Italy.

We just got to Italy and I have hotels, trains, Venice boat transfer, golf cart tour, food tour, early entry colosseum all booked! BUT what I am most excited for is wandering the streets, stopping into little cafes and finding my own hidden gems. I’ll be sharing them wjth you in my stories!

☀️✈️ It’s summer — which means I’m juggling two of my favorite things: planning amazing vacations for my clients and making sweet memories with my own family 💻👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🌴

I get asked all the time how I got started as a travel advisor...

I always loved to travel but I always figured I would work in business or real estate. After college I worked for a year at Disney World, and then after having Bryn, and working my other job at a college at the time, my good friend Sarah (who I lived with when working at Disney) suggested I look into being a travel agent.

At first I mainly booked Disney because that’s what I knew best but I quickly fell in love with Mexico and the Caribbean—like really fell in love. The culture, the beaches, the food, the resorts… all of it. So I decided to fully shift my focus so I could become an expert in those destinations, that also meant switching to a Travel Agency who has the support, connections, and professionalism to allow my business to grow in whatever direction I choose.

Now I get to help people plan some of the most meaningful and memorable vacations of their lives. I am pretty grateful to be on this path and looking into adding some exciting destinations in 2026! 💛🌴✈️

🌮 🇲🇽 Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Today isn’t just about tacos and margaritas (though I love those things too!)-it’s a chance to recognize and celebrate Mexican culture, history, and resilience.

👉 Did you know: Cinco de Mayo is not Mexico’s Independence Day (that’s September 16th). It actually commemorates the Battle of the Puebla that happened on May 5th, 1862 when a small, outnumbered Mexican army defeated the French forces. While it’s actually a minor holiday in Mexico, it’s become a big celebration of Mexican culture and heritage, especially in the U.S.
