As the temp nears 90 for the fourth day in a row here in Virginia, my mind wanders to cooler places. Believe it or not, it’s a cool 67 in Costa Rica’s mountain region right now! Here’s a video from a hike we did to the Continental Divide in the Monteverde Cloud Forest a few years ago. We’re thinking of adding it to our December 2026 offerings. From 6,000-foot Monteverde, we’ll take a 45-minute flight to sea level for kayaking the Golfo Dulce, hiking in Corcovado National Park, dolphin, sloth, monkey and bird-watching and more.
