Hey parents, you made it through Maycember and it’s the middle of June. The kids are out of school and summer break is in full swing! Do you have a vacation planned yet? I’m here to help!

Here’s some ideas:

🚢 Hop on a cruise out of many home ports around the country (Florida, Texas, California, Washington, you name it!)

🎢 Enjoy the thrills of a theme park vacation with yummy snacks, roller coasters and plenty of family fun

🌴 Relax on the beach, dip your toes in the sand while you work on your tan!

Did you know you can buy the refillable mug at Walt Disney World even if you don’t purchase the dining plan? While the dining plans are a great option for many clients (especially with the free dining plan for kids this year! 🙌🏼), I always recommend the cup for your trip!

I always use my mug at Walt Disney World and beyond. It’s great to take on Disney cruises where fountain drinks are free of charge and you can take the mug to the pool, your room, movie theatre, etc. without worrying about small paper cups. I also bring it to our park days at Disneyland (you’ll see it in my Disneyland park bag packing video! 👀)

A new option for cool kids summer is the cute handle accessory in several Pixar characters! These are available to purchase at select resorts offering Cool Kids Summer activities. I snagged these Joy ones at Disney’s Pop Century Resort.

This resort is perfectly themed for families with young kiddos and located in Frisco, Texas, centrally located to everywhere in the US! There will be a brand new resort, with bright colors and spacious rooms with families in mind that offers direct access to the Universal Kids theme park. Once inside the park you’ll find rides, attractions, and entertainment geared toward the youngest visitors, plus an opportunity to meet characters that your kids LOVE, like Gabby, Shrek, Trolls and more!

We’re big Gabby’s Dollhouse fans over here and I can already tell you that this will be a *must do* for our family very soon!

Adults-only trips to Walt Disney World are so much fun to plan!

While their priorities may look a little different than family vacations, they're just as exciting. After all, who doesn't love the chance to feel like a kid again?

I recently helped a group plan a quick, kid-free getaway for February. They chose Disney's Pop Century Resort and will be spending most of their time exploring EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios, making convenient access to the Disney Skyliner a top priority!

Thank you for following along with our Disney vacation to kick off summer!

Our last 3 visits to Walt Disney World have included a Disney Cruise and I fear there’s no other way to do it now 😂

We spent hours swimming in pools and beaches, met so many characters, ate more ice cream than I can count, rode our favorite rides and enjoyed 10 days in the Disney bubble.

It’s not too late to book your own summer getaway and it’s a great time to look ahead at the fall months and into the holidays. I’d love to help you make your own special memories at Disney!

The second theme park we visited this trip was Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I love that every trip and itinerary is unique to each client and there’s no wrong way to do it (except without my help of course haha! 😉). I strategically planned our arrival and Lightning Lanes to be later in the day so we could have a slow morning.

Here’s a look at our day:

📸 Met Mickey & Minnie!
🎢 Rode Slinky Dog Dash
🚍 And took the bus back to our resort for dinner and to pack!

It’s so beneficial for me to stay at multiple Walt Disney World resorts so I have first hand knowledge & experience, which helps me best match my clients with the right resort.

Some clients have a preferred resort right off the bat and others want to compare amenities and pricing. What works best for my family may not be best for yours. I love having those conversations about priorities and interests and know when we found the right fit!

We wrapped up our visit to Walt Disney World with a stay at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge in a newly remodeled room in Kidani Village. This is the most unique resort on property and I love all the amenities. You just can’t beat seeing giraffes and zebras from your room! 🦒🦓

Topolino’s Terrace is our favorite character dining experience at Walt Disney World Resort. It’s at Disney’s Riviera Resort and not in a theme park so it’s great for a resort day. Plus, it’s not a buffet so I feel like the character experience is more relaxed and the food is incredible! I always order the sour cream waffle with roasted apples and orange infused maple syrup. It’s easily my favorite meal resort wide.

Brooks requested to go to Epcot on his birthday and after 2 years and 3 visits we finally finished our Kidcot passport! He loved visiting each stop in the World Showcase and learning about each country.
