Be Accountable…

I’m far from perfect—some might even call me a bit of a rebel. But one thing I’ll never do is deny my humanity. I own my mistakes, learn from them, and move forward. That’s how growth happens. Falling down is inevitable, but staying down is a choice.

I won’t lie—when I’m angry or frustrated, the obscenities fly. It’s a habit I struggle to break, but I don’t beat myself up over it. One day, breakthrough will come. And I refuse to let so-called “saints” make me feel less than I am.

Hiding behind Christ or God without true effort won’t lead to real transformation. Faith requires action—genuine change comes from self-reflection, discipline, and taking strategic steps toward growth. As James 2:26 says, “Faith without works is dead.” True faith is shown through effort, accountability, and a commitment to becoming better.

Put in the work, and let God guide your steps.

Beauty in the Eye of the Beholder

Beauty is often found not in grand displays, but in the quiet, overlooked moments. It’s the way rays of sunshine break through a dark winter forest, casting warmth where there was once only cold. It’s the delicate glisten of a waterdrop resting on a leaf after the rain, reflecting light and life. A single flower bud, bursting with color among a sea of green or dry pasture, stands as a quiet reminder that beauty thrives even in unlikely places. And when the barren branches of winter give way to the tender shoots of spring, it’s a quiet promise that life always renews itself.

In relationships, especially in marriage, it’s easy to overlook these quiet blessings while searching for something bigger. Many marriages struggle because one or both partners are chasing a grand picture — expecting love to always feel new, exciting, or perfect. In doing so, they miss the quiet beauty of a faithful spouse who stands beside them through every season. The simple acts of kindness, the steady presence during difficult times, the small gestures of love — these are the rays of sunshine breaking through the dark forest of life. When we stop seeking perfection and instead notice the beauty in everyday faithfulness, we uncover the true depth of love.

“He has made everything beautiful in its time.” – Ecclesiastes 3:11

True beauty isn’t always obvious — it’s revealed to those who are willing to see beyond the surface, to those who pause long enough to notice the little things. May we have eyes to see and hearts to receive the quiet beauty that surrounds us every day, both in nature and in the relationships God has blessed us with.

Took these on my evening walk yesterday. Stay tuned for a reel.

Title: Crying Out Loud and Releasing — Finding Healing in the Journey

We all carry wounds. Some are deeper than others — wounds that were inflicted in the innocence of childhood, in the chaos of broken homes, and in the darkness of trauma that should have never been endured. I’ve walked that road — 40 years of life marked by childhood r**e, molestation, domestic violence, su***de, alcoholism, and poverty. For years, I accepted trauma as a part of life, as if it was normal. But in 2024, I made a decision — I stepped out of accepting trauma.

But stepping out doesn’t mean the pain disappears overnight. Healing is messy. It’s layered. It requires more than just moving on — it demands release. There’s power in crying out loud, in letting yourself feel the weight of it all and allowing it to escape from your soul. That scream — that loud, unfiltered cry — isn’t weakness. It’s surrender. It’s handing the weight over to God.

David understood this. He cried out to God, not with polite words, but with raw honesty:

“I cried to the Lord with my voice, and He heard me from His holy hill.” — Psalm 3:4 (NKJV)

David knew that God doesn’t turn away from our pain — He meets us in it. Crying out is not a sign that you’re losing faith — it’s proof that you trust God enough to bring Him your unfiltered truth.

I haven’t had that moment yet — that proper, alone time to just scream and release 40 years of pent-up hurt. The truth is, my kids are with me 24/7. As a mother, I’m always in “go” mode — tending to their needs, managing their emotions, being strong for them. And while I know I need to release it all, I’m holding it together because they need me to. But I also know that when the time comes — when I can steal away that quiet moment — I’ll let it all out because I trust that God will be there to catch every tear and hear every unspoken word.

One of the deepest wounds I carry is grief. I lost my dad as a teenager. It felt like my whole world crumbled — like I had no one to back me up. I carried that emptiness for years, thinking I was alone. What I didn’t realize then was that Jesus was always there — standing behind me, holding me up when I felt like I was falling apart. He’s the ultimate support, the one who never leaves. Even when people walk away, even when life feels empty, He remains.

Healing isn’t a one-time event — it’s a daily reset. That’s why keeping God at the forefront is non-negotiable. It’s why the ears He sends to you — the friends, the therapists, the mentors — are gifts from Him. Don’t push them away. Let them hold space for you.

Right now, I’m learning to quiet my mind through mindfulness and breathing. Taking control of my thoughts instead of letting them control me. It’s helping me see that life isn’t just about reaching a destination — it’s about learning how to breathe through the journey.

Because healing isn’t about getting to a perfect place — it’s about finding peace along the way. And peace comes when you release the weight, cry out to God, and trust that He’s holding you through it all.

“Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28 (NIV)

Let the release come. Let the scream out. Then breathe. God is with you in the release and the rebuilding.

Closing Prayer:

Lord, thank You for being our safe place. You see the wounds we’ve carried for years — the grief, trauma, and heaviness — and You invite us to lay it all at Your feet. Give us the strength to release it, knowing that You are strong enough to carry what we can’t. Help us to reset our minds daily with Your truth and to trust the people You send to support us. Teach us to breathe through the journey, not just chase the destination. We surrender it all to You and thank You for the peace that’s already on the way. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I’ve received so many messages and so much feedback from you all. I’m glad that these little pieces of my story are helping some of you through your journey. I know I need to start making some money — some of you mentioned starting a podcast or writing a book. I’m at the Lord’s feet, seeking guidance on what’s next… Stay tuned. Thank you for being on this journey with me.

Title: Your Network vs. Christ — The Doors Only Christ Can Open

Scripture:
Revelation 3:7–8 – “What He opens no one can shut, and what He shuts no one can open. I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut.”

Introduction:
We’ve all heard the saying, “It’s not what you know, it’s who you know.” And there’s some truth to that — the right connections can open doors, create opportunities, and provide support.

But here’s the thing — there are some doors that no high-ranking connection, no powerful friend, and no influential network can open. And there are some doors that no amount of human effort can close when Christ has already decided to open them.

I’ve seen this in my own life. Some of my biggest breakthroughs didn’t come because of my talent or my network — they came because Christ opened doors that no human could open. And when I faced rejection or closed doors, I learned that sometimes it wasn’t failure — it was Christ protecting me from walking through the wrong door.

I’ve also seen the attacks on my life, meant to shut me down — the moments where the enemy tried to block me from stepping into what God has planned for me. But I realized that all these struggles, all the setbacks, only confirmed that God has an amazing plan for me — one that will bring glory to many. It’s not about what my network can do for me — it’s about what Christ has already done and is doing through me.

So the question is: Are you putting more trust in your network or in Christ’s ability to open and close the right doors? Let’s look at the difference:

1. Your Network Can Introduce You — But Christ Opens the Door

Your network can position you for opportunities — but only Christ can make those opportunities come to life.
• You can have the best connections in the world — CEOs, influencers, business leaders — but if Christ doesn’t open the door, nothing will happen.
• I’ve had moments where I was perfectly positioned — the right time, the right people — but the door stayed closed.
• But I’ve also had doors open when I wasn’t even looking — because Christ was the one moving behind the scenes.
• Revelation 3:7 reminds us that when Christ opens a door, no one can shut it. When He closes a door, no one can open it.

➡️ People can recommend you — but only Christ can promote you.

2. Your Network Can Get You a Seat at the Table — But Christ Decides If You Belong There

We live in a culture that says success is about getting the right seat at the table.
• Your network might get you that seat — a job, a deal, a contract — but if Christ hasn’t placed you there, it won’t last.
• Some of the opportunities that didn’t work out for me — even though I was perfectly positioned — were God’s protection, not rejection.
• Because when Christ places you somewhere, you don’t have to fight to keep it — His grace will sustain you there.
• And when you try to force your way into places Christ hasn’t opened, it creates stress and instability.

➡️ A network can get you in the room — but only Christ can secure your place there.

3. Your Network Can Open Doors for Success — But Christ Opens Doors for Purpose

It’s easy to chase success — but true fulfillment comes from walking in purpose.
• Your network can open doors for money, influence, and status — but only Christ can open doors that align with your purpose.
• I’ve had opportunities that looked good on paper but felt empty because they weren’t connected to what God was calling me to do.
• But when Christ opened doors aligned with my purpose — whether in my career or personal life — the peace and fulfillment I felt confirmed it was the right path.
• Christ doesn’t just want you to succeed — He wants you to walk in purpose.

➡️ Success without purpose is empty — Christ gives you both.

4. Your Network Can Create Opportunities — But Christ Creates Miracles

There are things your network simply can’t do — no matter how powerful your connections are.
• Your network can get you a job — but Christ can heal your body.
• Your network can get you a deal — but Christ can restore your marriage.
• Your network can introduce you to influential people — but Christ can give you peace when the whole world is against you.
• When my daughter started speech therapy, advice and support from others helped — but it was Christ who gave me strength when I felt overwhelmed.
• Christ doesn’t just open doors — He makes a way where there is no door.

➡️ Your network works with limits — Christ works beyond them.

5. Your Network Might Fail You — But Christ Never Will

Here’s the hard truth — people are human. Even the most reliable friends, mentors, and connections will eventually disappoint you.
• They may forget to call you back.
• They may overlook you for an opportunity.
• They may turn their back on you.
• But Christ is consistent. He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever.
• If He closes a door, it’s for your protection. If He opens a door, it’s for your elevation.

➡️ When people walk away — Christ remains.

6. When Christ Opens the Door — It’s Effortless

When Christ opens a door, you don’t have to manipulate, force, or strive — it happens with grace.
• Have you ever noticed how some things just seem to “click”? That’s not luck — that’s God’s hand.
• When Christ opens the door, you’ll walk through it with peace, confidence, and clarity.
• And when He closes a door, even if it hurts, you’ll eventually see it was for your protection.

➡️ You won’t have to fight for what Christ has already given you.

So, Who Are You Trusting?
• Are you trusting your network to open the next door?
• Are you frustrated because the door hasn’t opened yet — even though you have the right connections?
• Or are you willing to surrender to Christ — knowing that His timing and His positioning are perfect?

Your network matters — but Christ matters more.
• A network can introduce you — but Christ will elevate you.
• A network can open doors — but Christ will direct your steps.
• A network can give you a seat at the table — but Christ will make sure you belong there.
• A network can bring you success — but Christ will give you purpose.

Final Thought:

Build your network — but trust Christ.
• Let your network be a tool — but let Christ be the foundation.
• Celebrate the doors your network opens — but trust the ones that Christ closes.
• Because when Christ opens a door, no one can shut it.
• And when He closes a door, it’s because He has something better in store.

👉 Your network is a resource — but Christ is the source. Trust the source.

I’ve seen the attacks on my life meant to shut me down, but I’ve learned that the enemy is afraid of what God is doing through me. God has an amazing plan for me — and for you. When we trust Christ to open the right doors, we can rest assured that nothing and no one can shut them.
