🤠 🎶 Country music star Kenny Chesney is headed back to the Flora-Bama to celebrate ten years of his SiriusXM channel No Shoes Radio with a exclusive concert next month.

SiriusXM announced the concert on Thursday, March 19, with the show itself scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 18, at the iconic Flora-Bama located on the beach between the border of Orange Beach, Alabama and Perdido Key, Florida. SiriusXM will broadcast the performance for listeners on the No Shoes Radio channel at 2 p.m. CT that day, both on the radio and on streaming via the SiriusXM app.

“We started No Shoes Radio on the internet as something fun to do, a place to play that special cocktail of reggae, rock, country, and more,” Chesney said as part of the announcement. “When SiriusXM embraced what we were doing, it opened up a whole other portal for people who live in these songs. After 10 years, we needed to do something that captured the sea salt, the joy, and all the memories in our music. What better place than inside the Flora-Bama?”

The National Naval Aviation Museum is pleased to open the flight line behind the museum to view Blue Angels practice flight demonstrations. Gates open at 9:30 AM and the Blues are scheduled to take to the skies at 10:30 AM.

Base Access & Identification Requirements:
The Department of Defense (DoD) and the Navy require visitors 18 and older to show a single government-issued identification card. State-issued driving licenses and passports are acceptable. Public access to NAS Pensacola will be available from 9 a.m. through 3 p.m. through the West Gate only on the south end of Blue Angel Parkway. Additionally, vehicle operators must have a valid driver’s license, and foreign nationals will need to be escorted by a U.S. citizen.

The first Orange Beach Sea Turtle nest hatched last night around 11:30pm. The hatch was called in and volunteers showed up and found the baby sea turtles wandering around the beach and in the dunes. With the help of other beach goers they rounded the babies up and helped them to the water.
