The city will hold its 2026 Orange Beach Mardi Gras Parade at 2 p.m. on Fat Tuesday, February 17th. To participate in the parade, please complete the application - 2026 City of Orange Beach Mardi Gras Parade Application and Information (PDF) -
https://ow.ly/7Buw50Y4Fgc and return it along with the appropriate entry fee and copy of proof of insurance for each motorized entry by Friday, February 6th at 5 p.m. to City Hall. Cost: $50 first entry and $25 each additional entry.

The parade rolls on Perdido Beach Boulevard, starting at the traffic signal at Wolf Bay Lodge, east of Phoenix West, and travel east ending at the intersection at Highway 161 and Perdido Beach Boulevard, just past the Publix shopping center. At the median, which begins at the Romar Beach Access, the parades will move to the eastbound lanes (southside of the beach highway.). See map at https://ow.ly/SRbU50Y4Fgb

Dec. 2nd: Orange Beach Christmas Tree Lighting: The annual City of Orange Beach Christmas Tree Lighting will be held on Tuesday, December 2nd on Main Street at The Wharf.

The tree-lighting ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m., featuring performers singing Christmas carols, cookie decorating, letters to Santa, hot chocolate and will end with the traditional tree lighting and the first-ever drone show!

Want to spend some time in the Gulf waters and need to borrow a life jacket? We have you covered!

We are excited to announce we recently won a grant from the Sea Tow Foundation for a life jacket loaner stand at Alabama Point East!

As big advocates for safe boating, swimming, and wearing a life jacket while enjoying your day at the beach, we encourage any and everyone to take advantage of this stand if they are in need of an extra vest!
