Sea Turtles Dig the Dark! 🌌🐢

It’s true! Sea turtles love the dark! You can help protect nesting sea turtles by keeping our beaches dark and peaceful at night.

Here are some ways you can make a difference:
🔺Close your beach-facing shades after 9 PM
🔺Turn off outdoor lights when not in use
🔺Use amber or red bulbs in outdoor fixtures and flashlights — their longer wavelengths are much less disruptive to sea turtles’ vision.

Every small action helps nesting sea turtles and hatchlings find their way home to the water! 🌊🐢
