Our fishing charters depart from the Flora Bama Marina located at 29603 Perdido Beach Blvd. in Orange Beach, Alabama, Located on the Alabama Florida State Line. Our location in Orange Beach, Alabama allows us to provide our clients with some of the best fishing the Gulf Coast has to offer. Our back water and Inshore Fishing Charters in Orange Beach can go up to 9 nautical miles off the beaches of Orange Beach and Gulf Shores.. We provide all the bait, tackle, licenses! Today's charter was Alan Bell , his wife and some of their friends . Alan's wife caught the first and he caught the other snook on my boat . I had never seen one here in our waters but heard they had existed here in the last several years . The group also caught some keeper mangrove snapper, three Spanish Mackerel and a keeper Flounder but released several throw back fish too.

Colton and Dallas from Ohio and their cousin Amanda from Kentucky fished with me on Wednesday . They caught a variety of fish as well as a shark .All three are cousins on vacation together . They caught flounder , redfish , black snappers and a shark .

Aaron Pryor and family from Missouri fished with me this morning . They definitely caught a variety of different species on the inshore charter they caught a nineteen inch red snapper , a black snapper just as big along with around six more keepers , six Spanish Mackerel , 2 redfish , and a spinner shark .

My afternoon trip was slow but great people as they wanted a shark . Dianne caught a black snapper but it was too short and was released . We shark fished the rest of the trip . We had our only strike within minutes from the trips end as the sun was setting but Dianne managed a nice male spinner shark that almost pulled her over board . The guys had been with me before and last time they caught a pair of black tip sharks with me .

Our Flora Bama Marina made it thru the Hurricane just to let all know who would like to go fishing as we will return hopefully in a day or two so we can get back to running trips before pulling boat back out in November . If you would like to fish with me , Capt Ritchie , please give us a call and get a reserved day on the water soon . Condo's, not knowing the out come of the storm , canceled most of my people for this coming week so we definitely will have availability , please call us at 1-251-746-1896 and let's go make some memories together as the fish bite maybe very good once these storms pass thru. Brad and Elijah from Tennessee fished with me yesterday . They told me upfront they were very novice fishermen. Elijah had a lot of interest in fishing and caught the first fish of the morning a very nice bluefish which was his biggest fish to date until he caught three redfish that wore him out . Brad caught two redfish , a blue or two and a very nice flounder . They did great for being beginners! Great day on the water!
