My Friday afternoon trip was a repeat customers , Dennis Henson and his wife Sondra Wilson . Last year it was Dennis birthday as he caught and mounted a Blacktip shark thru Gray Fish Mounts . Today was Sondra's day as she caught most of the fish during the trip . She caught quite a few Spanish Mackerel before getting her trophy Blacktip shark that will also be mounted thru Grays

Jim Thrash from Georgia took his son and a friend who just graduated high school fishing with Chris Tew for trout on Wednesday and he fished with me today on Friday . They caught red snapper but headed back to the store after they felt a lil sea sick . Once on the beach we tried for a shark and luckily we caught one before headed back to the marina

My snapper trip was a good one with John Byron and boys from Tennessee. Carson caught a nice sal snapper but we came in with our limit of ten fish . We were going to shark fish but one of the guys wasn't feeling that great with the rolling waves when we were stil and floating so we came on in . I got their fish cleaned and bagged , cleaned the boat and now relaxing and resting at home . I have two tomorrow so I got to get that rest when I am able or the weather is simply too bad .

Deegan Martin and his friend fished with me this afternoon . We didn't troll long but caught three Spanish mackerel . The shark bite took awhile but once I found them late in the trip , we lost one and we almost had a double but one dropped the bait as Deegan was hooked up .

I took out Jordan Guillot this morning from North east Louisiana . We didn't try shark fishing but I did see a nice Tarpon rolling as well as some clippers ofcourse . We trolled and caught his crew a mess of Spanish Mackerel . A few of the guys felt a lil under the weather with us rocking in the gulf so we came back early .

This afternoon I took High School classmate and local realtor, Jeremy Sullivan , his dad ( Ron and his brother Adam and Nicole from Wisconsin ) along with his son Trevor. We caught some Spanish mackerel , blue fish , hard tails and a ladyfish . The trip was about brother Adam landing a shark . The first one got off as we retrieved the bitten bait to the boat . We drifted awhile but finally had double black tips on but unfortunately one came off the hook but luckily landed Adams Blacktip shark .

The gulf was a lil Rollie this morning but we were able to manage some trolling fish for Jeremy Branch and family from Shreveport , Louisiana. They caught some Spanish mackerel , a blue fish and lots of blue runners or hardtail . We also landed a nice male Blacktip that they will be grilling up soon to end their trip with me .

Kristin from Wako Texas caught a nice Blacktip shark on my afternoon trip . Her boyfriend, Lincoln got one close to the the boat but the line touched boat and burned it off .We also caught blue runners and a few Spanish Mackerel and a bonito.
