Fishermen of Orange Beach…
I’ve just got some important news to share.
My main man, Jarrod, won’t be returning to sling bait into your live wells this season. Since the end of last summer, he’s had multiple spine and neck surgeries, and his doctors are not allowing him to continue with the physical demands of the job. His health has to come first.
With that said, I’m now looking for either a fully committed partner or a new owner for Orange Beach Live Bait.
I want to be fully transparent — the last two seasons have been a huge learning experience. We’ve built a strong foundation, secured the permits (which were no easy task), established a great location at Caribe Marina, and we have a solid selling barge ready to go.
Demand over the past two seasons has been off the charts. The goal moving forward would be to handle larger volume and provide quality bait at a more affordable price. A new partner would need to bring full-time commitment and a smaller boat to help expand bait-catching capabilities.
I truly believe Orange Beach needs a dependable live bait boat service. The opportunity is here — I’m just sitting in too many chairs at the moment and can’t give it the focus it deserves.
