Alright, here we are, top 10 tips for your vacation!

1. Pack a quick and easy breakfast! We packed some Clif bars which saved us a lot of time in the morning. Pair that with a banana from your hotel's quick service and you're good to go! You can even eat on the bus to save even more time.

2. If you're trying to get on Hagrid's Motorbike coaster, DO NOT try to beat the system by taking the Hogwarts Express from early access hours! Going through the gate will get you there much much faster.

3. If you want to ride the Hogwarts Express, make sure you have a park to park ticket (and ride it both directions, each way is different!)

4. WEAR A F***Y PACK! I know this isn't the most fashionable choice, but you can wear a f***y pack onto any ride at Universal, so it will save you time since you won't have to do lockers!

5. Take a drink in line for the long waits. It will make things way more bearable and fun.

6. Ride the Krakatoa Aqua Coaster first thing at Volcano Bay, the line gets crazy and doesn't really go down throughout the day (120+ minutes!)

7. Go through all of the areas, even the ones you don't think you'll care about! We had some fantastic tacos in the Simpsons area, and the Men in Black ride is super fun. It's easy to stay in Wizarding World but there's some great other stuff.

8. Take advantage of free courtesy cups of ice water anywhere there are fountain drinks or a bar!

9. Head to the resorts for dinner! They're just a short walk from Citywalk and there are some absolutely amazing restaurants.

10. DO NOT EAT 2 VOODOO DONUTS AND THEN RIDE VELOCICOASTER 🤪

We just got home 😭 not ready to be back in the real world! I just wanted to do a quick post about our resort because I realized I never showed y'all anything about it! Keep an eye out for my top 10 travel tips for 😉

So we stayed at Universal's Endless Summer Resort Surfside Inn and Suites. Endless Summer is Universal's Value level resort and we were pleasantly surprised with how nice it was! This resort is brand new and sparkling, with a welcoming lobby with lots of seating, a gorgeous pool (and pool bar!), and a delicious quick service restaurant. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. We never waited more than a few minutes for the busses to the parks, and each bus ride was 5 minutes or under. So convenient and affordable! We stayed in a 2 queen room, but there are 2 bedroom suites available as well to sleep up to 6 people. Super awesome!

We loved our stay and hope to stay here again soon!

If you are planning on traveling to Universal or any other Orlando parks in the fall, see if you can choose dates that coincide with Orlando's Magical Dining!

Magical Dining is a program that lasts for several weeks (this year's extended dates are August 27-October 17). At participating restaurants, you can get a pre-fixe 3 course meal including an appetizer, entree, and dessert for only $37! There were 4 participating restaurants on property, so we chose Amatista at Lowes Sapphire Falls Resort. We enjoyed an absolutely delicious Caribbean-inspired dinner, including ribeye and an incredible rum cake. The ribeye dinner alone is $40 on the regular menu, so this is an incredible deal!
