Attention Mobile Food Vendors! 🚚🍔🌮

Effective July 1, 2026, all mobile food vendors (food trucks, trailers, carts, and mobile food units) operating in Texas are required to obtain a State of Texas Mobile Food Vendor License issued by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS).

If you plan to participate in City of Orange-sponsored events, you must provide proof of a valid state-issued license.

Beverage Vendors & Booth/Table Vendors:
Vendors operating from a temporary booth, tent, table, kiosk, or other non-mobile setup are not required to obtain a State Mobile Food Vendor License. However, vendors selling food or beverages may still be required to obtain applicable temporary event permits and comply with local health and safety regulations.

Vendor applications are now open for the Orangetober Festival Vendor Market, hosted by the Rotary Club of Orange.
