Blown out for Monday morning’s ocean trip but back on the local grounds last couple of days…..

Tuesday’s 11 angler Split Charter started with good Scup fishing and a pick of Sea Bass. Shift in location and the large to XL Sea Bass started coming fast. Boat limit of nice ones to 3.5 pounds. Lots more big Scup mixed in. After that Bluefishing was savage. All rods bent and 35-40 over the rail. Took a shot at Striped Bass, finding more Blues.

Similar results for Wednesday’s family trip for Jimmy and dad’s 70th birthday. Very good Sea Bass fishing with an easy boat limit plus Scup and a bonus 4 pound Fluke. After Blues, the breeze picked up so anchored up in a comfortable spot and enjoyed a good steady bite with Scup to 2.5 pounds hitting the deck.

Be tied up again the next couple of days while Erin passes by.

Real solid ocean charter for Ian’s group of 19. Few limits, lots of 2 fluke catches. 32 keepers with Alley taking the pool with her 7 pound flattie. Full limit of 65 Sea Bass as well to 3.75 pounds. Rods bent all day. Thanks Ian!

Thursday’s Ocean Charter for Andrew’s group of 12 was a steady pick. Lots of life and put together a respectable catch of Fluke to 6 pounds and Sea Bass to 3.5 pounds by day’s end. Ok fishing. Thanks Andrew!

Friday’s 19 angler ocean Fluke/Sea Bass Split Charter saw some anglers do very well with a few Fluke limits. Chris D took the pool with his 8.5 pound 28”+ flattie. Sea Bass fishing was very good this day with lots of big ones jumping in the boat to 3.75 pounds. Pretty good day.

Saturday’s 12 angler ocean charter for Billy D and friends slayed em. George put a personal best beautiful 11.25 pound mat on the deck that was 31+ inches long. Congrats George! Lots of limits, high hooks 5-6 keepers. Several 5-6 pounders in the mix. Just about a limit for the boat with 31 keeper Fluke and 35 nice Sea Bass taking the ride back to the north fork. Great day! Thanks Billy and happy birthday!

Ocean Fluke to 11.25 pounds & Sea Bass to 3.75 pounds

Bit tough last couple of days but some nice catches put together.

Tuesday’s 7 angler Split Charter enjoyed very good Sea Bass fishing to start, limiting the boat to 3.5 pounds. After that a steady pick of Scup. Bass & Blues went MIA for us this day unfortunately.

Wednesday’s 15 angler Ocean Fluke/Sea Bass Split Charter had a methodical pick of Fluke with tons of shorts. Sea Bass mostly 14”-15.5” this day but some big ones in the mix. Chris L had a great day on the Fluke landing 4 nice 4-6 pounders and took the pool. Couple other limits and 2 Fluke catches but it was picky. Covered lots of ground. Just a soft bite.

Midweek Action

Sunday, Miquel’s 20 anglers mauled jumbo Scup, limiting the boat to 3 pounds. They added some nice Sea Bass, Triggerfish, and a couple of Fluke. Action packed bottom trip.

Today, Monday’s half day 10 angler family & friends charter for Dennis had a great XL Sea Bass bite and limited the boat along with a side of nice Scup. Was drop and stick doubles for a few drifts. Fun trip.

Still room for a couple on tomorrow’s 10 angler limited trip!

Monday Sea Bass Action!

Worked hard at it in a fast drift Saturday for the 16 angler Atlantis Anglers trip but put it together pretty good by day’s end.

Lots of quality 4-6 pounders and a 7 pounder for the pool. 31 keeper Fluke went home along with a boat limit of knucklehead Sea bass to 3+ pounds. Thanks Atlantis Club! See you for Tog.

Good day of ocean Fluking

Couple pics from Wednesday’s trip and the rest from Friday’s sold out 10 angler Split Charter.

Friday’s trip slammed jumbo Sea bass to 3.75 pounds in a hot bite. After limiting the boat grabbed a few Blues then focused on Scup to finish up landing a couple hundred beauties. Fun rod bending trip.
