💸🏰 WHAT I WILL NOT SPEND MY DISNEY BUDGET ON… MAGICBANDS! 👀

Are they cute? OF COURSE! 😍
Are they fun accessories? Absolutely! ✨
Do I need one? Honestly… NOPE! 😂

For me, a MagicBand is just one more thing to charge, pack, keep track of, and potentially lose. 🙃

When I can use the My Disney Experience app or my resort room card for many of the same essentials, I’d rather save that money for something special! 🍦🛍️🍿

A Mickey-shaped treat? YES.
A special souvenir? Maybe!
Another thing I have to remember to bring? I’m good! 😂

And listen, if you LOVE your MagicBand, I’m not judging! ❤️ Disney vacations are personal, and what’s worth it to one family might not be worth it to another.

If you’re traveling to Disney with high-energy kiddos, this resort is worth a look!

❤️ THE PROS

🏡 More space for everyone to spread out
🍳 A kitchen to help with picky eaters and easy snacks
🌲 A private patio and a peaceful, outdoorsy atmosphere
🏊‍♀️ Pools, trails, and recreation beyond the parks
🚤 Boat transportation to Magic Kingdom
✨ A chance to enjoy Disney without spending every minute in a theme park!

👀 THE CONS

🚌 The resort is spread out, so getting around takes planning
⏰ Transportation can add time to your park days
🍽️ The kitchen is great for simple meals, but it isn’t a full-size home kitchen
🌦️ The outdoor setting means dealing with Florida heat, rain, and bugs
🎢 If you plan to spend every waking minute in the parks, you may not get the most out of the resort itself.

❤️ MY TAKE?

If your family loves having room to spread out, preparing easy meals, and enjoying the outdoors, Fort Wilderness could be a fantastic option!

But if convenience and quick transportation are your top priorities, I’d compare it with other Disney resorts before booking.

The best Disney resort isn’t the same for every family. It’s the one that fits YOUR needs! 🏰✨

✨🏰 I was SHOCKED by how much I actually loved Disney’s Art of Animation Resort! 😍

I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect to like it as much as I did! But after experiencing it, I can absolutely see why it’s such a great option for families. ❤️

🎨 The theming is ADORABLE! From the colorful world of The Little Mermaid to the larger-than-life Cars section, it feels like stepping right into the movies!

🛏️ Need room for a bigger family? The family suites give everyone more space to spread out without having to book multiple standard rooms.

🚠 The Skyliner convenience is a HUGE perk! Being able to hop on the gondola for transportation to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios is a game changer.

🍕 Picky eaters? No problem! The food court offers a wide variety of options, making it easier to find something for everyone.

🏊 And here’s a fun bonus! Art of Animation and Pop Century are sister resorts, and guests can use the pools and select amenities at either resort. Double the options!

Sometimes a resort surprises you in the BEST way, and Art of Animation definitely did that for me! ✨
