National Airlines delivers another humanitarian aid shipment to flood-affected communities in Nepal. Around 74 tonnes of urgently needed relief materials, including rehabilitation supplies and household essentials, were transported from Hahn, Germany, to Kathmandu, Nepal, aboard the airline’s B747-400 freighter. As communities in Nepal gradually recover from the crisis, National's teams remain mission-ready, supporting the rapid deployment of charter flights carrying vital aid to the region. Close coordination among our operations, ground handling, flight crew, and specialist teams helps ensure these time-critical missions deliver essential support when it is needed most.

National Airlines continues to support humanitarian relief missions to flood-affected regions in Nepal. In its latest mission, over 75 tonnes of aid and relief cargo for UNICEF were transported on a direct B747 freighter from Copenhagen, Denmark, to Kathmandu, Nepal. The entire operation was mobilized in less than 48 hours from request to loading and departure.

The mission involved well-coordinated and rapid deployment of ground support services, logistics, permits, flight operations, and handling arrangements at short notice, further reaffirming the airline’s commitment to providing immediate humanitarian airlift support to crisis-hit regions in Nepal. We continue to keep the affected communities and people in our thoughts as they navigate this difficult time.

National Airlines supports the UAE Government’s humanitarian relief efforts for communities affected by the devastating floods in Nepal. A National Airlines Boeing 747 freighter aircraft was deployed to airlift emergency relief equipment and essential materials from Dubai to Kathmandu, Nepal, supporting the delivery of critical aid to the disaster-affected region.

Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, the UAE allocated US$10 million in humanitarian assistance to support communities impacted by the floods. National Airlines is honoured to support this relief and aid mission, reaffirming our commitment to the UAE Government’s humanitarian initiatives and helping deliver assistance to communities in need.

Our thoughts remain with the people of Nepal, the families affected, and the relief teams working tirelessly on the ground.

National Airlines has taken delivery of N798CA, the airline's fourth B777-200 Freighter, at Boeing’s Everett facility in Washington. The newest addition to the fleet will begin its commercial missions soon, further strengthening the airline's long-haul cargo capabilities and expanding the transportation solutions provided to customers worldwide. With four Boeing 777 Freighters now flying with the airline, along with a fleet of nine B747 freighters, the global teams are ready to connect more markets, move more cargo, and create new possibilities across the global supply chain network.
