National Airlines supports the UAE Government’s humanitarian relief efforts for communities affected by the devastating floods in Nepal. A National Airlines Boeing 747 freighter aircraft was deployed to airlift emergency relief equipment and essential materials from Dubai to Kathmandu, Nepal, supporting the delivery of critical aid to the disaster-affected region.

Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, the UAE allocated US$10 million in humanitarian assistance to support communities impacted by the floods. National Airlines is honoured to support this relief and aid mission, reaffirming our commitment to the UAE Government’s humanitarian initiatives and helping deliver assistance to communities in need.

Our thoughts remain with the people of Nepal, the families affected, and the relief teams working tirelessly on the ground.

National Airlines has taken delivery of N798CA, the airline's fourth B777-200 Freighter, at Boeing’s Everett facility in Washington. The newest addition to the fleet will begin its commercial missions soon, further strengthening the airline's long-haul cargo capabilities and expanding the transportation solutions provided to customers worldwide. With four Boeing 777 Freighters now flying with the airline, along with a fleet of nine B747 freighters, the global teams are ready to connect more markets, move more cargo, and create new possibilities across the global supply chain network.

National Airlines is proud to have achieved what is believed to be the world’s longest commercial Boeing 777 Freighter flight with live cargo for another airline, operating nonstop from Prestwick to Melbourne across an extraordinary 9,849 nautical miles (completed in 19:23 hrs)

More than a record-setting journey, this milestone showcases our ability to plan and execute highly complex, ultra-long-haul missions with precision, reliability, and operational excellence. It reflects the expertise of our flight operations, maintenance, dispatch, and ground teams, whose seamless coordination enables us to deliver exceptional performance across the world’s most demanding cargo missions.
