If there is a gluten free treat at Disney world, I WILL track it down! These are the gluten free churros at Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Disney’s Coronado Springs resort. These are more adjacent to the Spanish-style traditional churros than the “Americanized” version we enjoy that are coated in copious amounts of sugar, but I wouldn’t go as far as to call them fully authentic. They are served with two dipping sauces- chocolate and tequila caramel. While I would probably rank these my third favorite of the 3 gluten free churros you can get at WDW, they were still very yummy 😋

Wondering what to do on your resort arrival day at Disney or Universal when your room isn’t ready yet? There are three solid options:
-Disney Springs / CityWalk
-Pool
-Grab a drink and snack at your resort’s bar
On our most recent trip, that last option is the one we went with. The lobby bar at Coronado Springs is called Barcelona Lounge, and it did NOT disappoint! The Gran Gin Tonic, made with house-made saffron-orange tonic, was amazing and the hummus and vegetable platter was the perfect light snack to hold us over until dinner.

From a travel advisor who never thought she was a “cruise person”…. (and neither did my hubby!)

As a Disney travel advisor, I wanted to experience a Disney Cruise Line vacation for myself so I could give my clients advice based on firsthand experience- not just what I’d read online or what I learned through Disney’s training.

And it turns out… we were wrong. 🚢✨

We loved it.

We worried we’d feel stuck on the ship, but there was always something to do, whether we wanted entertainment, food, activities, or just somewhere beautiful to relax. And speaking of beautiful…the ship itself was absolutely gorgeous.

What surprised me most was how easy it was to settle into the slower pace. No rushing from attraction to attraction. No checking ride wait times in an app. Just enjoying the experience and going along for the ride.

So if you’ve ever thought, “I don’t think we’re cruise people…” -I get it. I thought the same thing.

And that’s exactly why I love being able to help my clients decide whether a Disney Cruise Line vacation is actually a good fit for them.
