If you're still casually thinking "maybe we'll do something this summer," I want to be honest with you:

The good stuff is already getting tight. Disney resorts, the Beaches properties, the cruise cabins families actually want -- those are the ones that go FIRST. What's left in July and August right now is mostly the leftovers.

But here's the thing -- it's not too late if you tell me NOW. I can still pull a few solid options together for you. I just can't do it the week before you want to leave.

Hollywood Studios has NEW stage shows (Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After + The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure), dance parties, surprise characters, and the Muppets have officially taken over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. 🐸🎸

EPCOT is in on the fun too – Goofy games, dancing, and all the summer vibes. 🏰✨

If you've been daydreaming about a family beach week where:

The kids are entertained from morning to night
The food is included (and actually GOOD)
The water is that crazy turquoise color you see on Pinterest
You don't lift a finger except to reapply sunscreen

This is the place.

It's one of the few all-inclusives I'd recommend to a family without hesitating -- because the kids' clubs, the food, and that ridiculous beach all live up to the hype.

People assume I'm sipping piña coladas all day. The reality is a lot more spreadsheets and a lot less rum.

This week, I quoted a couple Disney Cruise Line sailings for one family. Built out a custom Disney World itinerary for a multi-gen trip. Walked another client through how to use Lightning Lane.

The best part? Every single one of those families is going to come back from their trip with memories their kids will talk about for years.

That is genuinely why I do this.

A few things on my radar right now that families I've worked with are loving:

-- Disney Cruise Line "Kids Sail 50% Off" (book by June 14)
-- Beaches Turks & Caicos (peak season is filling)
-- Epic Universe at Universal Orlando (worth planning a trip around)
-- Caribbean cruises (a new island every day, unpack once)

Spend a week on an all-inclusive beach where someone hands you cocktails and your only job is to read?

OR

Spend a week on a cruise ship where every day is a new island and there's nothing left to plan?

(Yes, I know -- you want both. Pick ONE.)

Honestly? My answer changes depending on the season of life I'm in.

After a busy stretch where I just need to BE with my family and not think? An all-inclusive where I can chill by the pool with my boys is everything.

And then other times -- the cruise life calls. New island, new view, new adventure every morning.

There's no wrong answer. There's just the right one for the phase you're in.

If you're going to Universal Orlando in 2026 or 2027, EPIC UNIVERSE is the park you're going for. Period.

Yes -- Islands of Adventure is still iconic. Yes -- Universal Studios is still fun. But Epic Universe is the new flagship and it is unlike anything Orlando has done before.

Five worlds. Brand-new Harry Potter Ministry of Magic land. Super Nintendo World. Dark Universe (the monsters). How to Train Your Dragon. Celestial Park as the central hub.

If this is your first Universal trip in years -- you almost have to plan around Epic.

✨ Let's talk about something nobody wants to admit -- sometimes Universal is the better fit for your family than Disney.

I love Disney with my whole heart. But hear me out:

If your kids are 10+, ride junkies, Harry Potter obsessed, or your family is "we go HARD on vacation" -- Universal might honestly be the better park trip for you. The thrill rides hit different. The Wizarding World is a religious experience for fans. And with Epic Universe now open, the whole property is a different beast.

Disney is magic. Universal is adrenaline. Sometimes you want one. Sometimes you want the other.

A good travel agent (👋) will tell you which one fits YOUR family -- not just push the bigger commission.
