Long read but definitely worth the post and transparency.
Communication is everything in travel 🤍
I want to be real and say that over the past month, my communication hasn’t been as consistent as I normally aim for. I’ve been balancing a full plate — my full-time job, my travel business, and life as a mom and wife. I usually do a great job juggling it all, but like anything, my travel business runs in seasons.
My busiest travel season is end of May through June and runs through August for summer travel. Then things slow down a bit before picking back up in September through fall — including October trips, Thanksgiving travel in November, and winter/winter break trips.
Even when it’s quieter on the surface, I’m still working behind the scenes — quoting trips, planning, and improving how I send out documents and resources so everything is smoother for my clients.
On a personal note, I’ve also been going through some health adjustments with my thyroid and medication changes, which has been a lot physically and emotionally. I’ve been giving myself grace while my body adjusts.
I’m a pretty private person, but I always care deeply about showing up well for my clients, even in quieter seasons.
I truly appreciate patience and grace more than you know 🤍
Going forward, my communication will be a little more structured and consistent 🤍
In the past, I communicated almost daily during the quoting and planning process because many conversations started with excitement and “let’s book it!” But sometimes after spending time researching, quoting, and planning, communication would go quiet, which can make it difficult to know when to continue reaching out and when to step back respectfully.
I’ll be checking in at least Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (typically mornings and evenings as needed).
Clients who already have trips booked will continue to receive scheduled emails for their upcoming travel details. If you’re currently booked, you’re always welcome to reach out at any time before your trip, during your travels, or after especially when you’re ready to plan your next vacation.
Having a more organized communication schedule moving forward will help create a smoother and more balanced planning experience for everyone involved ✈️
Quick note: Facebook messages aren’t the best way to reach me since I don’t always get notifications right away and messages can get missed or delayed. Text or email is always the fastest and most reliable way to get me.
💬 If you have my personal number and want to plan a trip, text me anytime there! I’d love to help you plan something amazing.
📱 If not, you can reach me at my Google business number: 678-250-6998 (call or text)
📧 Or email me anytime: [email protected]
So grateful for every client and every trip I get to be part of. 🤍
