Nobody warns you about the blanket 😅
A June morning in Southern Africa starts near freezing 🥶

Ask anyone what they remember most about their safari and they’ll start with the lion. They always start with the lion. But give it a minute and the answer changes. It becomes the woman waiting with a tray of drinks before anyone had said a word. The guide who knew what you wanted to see before you did. The whole team on the deck at night, singing, refusing to let a single guest stay seated.

There is a warmth to the people of this continent that no itinerary can arrange for you. It meets you at the airstrip, and by dinner it knows your name.

At Alluring Africa we have the privilege of Coral Cameron, one of our Private Travel Designers and a South African who recently went home again. She has seen it all a hundred times. It still moved her.
