One more loooonngggg day. Rope drop to close. Kids are troopers. And by kids, I mean.. Me. Dang I don't know how they can go all day 😴😴😴

Also lunch at Blue Bayou. My teenager clearly got the ribeye cuz... He's not paying. Garlic sourdough with cheesy grits dip. Monte Cristo and rabbit food for me since.. Diet.

What a blast it was and remember, when ready to visit Disney - I'd love to help with your trip free of charge!

Disney's California Adventure. Out of all the Disney parks this is (not so) secretly MY FAVORITE.

Lamplight Lounge for lunch... Definitely check out their Shrimp Tacos and assorted libations. 🍤🌮

Day 12/13: Day at Sea and disembarkation in Barcelona. 🌊 🐬

Unfortunately we didn't have much of a stay in Barcelona as our flights had some irregular operations. We were forced to rush to the airport and bounce around from flight to flight. Which is a shame because I LOVE SPAIN. Perhaps it has something to do with the required afternoon naps and incredible snacks (tapas). 🇪🇸 🇪🇸 🇪🇸

I quickly remembered where I was after talking trash about the Spanish World Cup team a few minutes before their match with Portugal and the goat Cristiano Ronaldo. ⚽ ⚽ ⚽

Overall this was a trip of a lifetime. Quality time with family that you simply cannot put a price tag on. Memories I will cherish forever. And not just my memories, but for my wife and parents, but especially my children. Gavin will never forget when I told the server that he couldn't cut his own steak 🤣🤣🤣(We've been home for a few days) and Mailie is still singing Disney songs to herself as she plays with her dolls, pretending she is still sitting in the porthole of the ship. 🚣 🚣 🚣 I cannot put into words how truly special quality time with family is... And how rare and fleeting those moments can be.

Day 10/11: Day at Sea and Valleta, Malta

I'll admit I knew NOTHING about Malta before visiting here. On board one of the cast members was from Malta. He explained how the old city, built atop an impressive steep ledge would flood when it rains. To combat this, the Maltese government launches what appears to be mortar like explosives into the sky to dissipate clouds above Valleta.

Of course, with this secret information, I proceeded to tell the Americans on board that Maltese LOVE AMERICANS so much that they would be honoring the fourth of July by launching fireworks for our arrival. 🤣 🇺🇸

Valleta is an incredible city with rich history and an adorable walking town. Lots of shops and Nougat. Also a small nearby island, Gozo is prized it's special sea salt because it is 100% natural, hand-harvested from ancient rock-cut pans, and packed with trace minerals that give it a uniquely soft, non-aggressive flavor. 🧂 🧂 🧂

Day 9: Rhodes Day 2 🇬🇷

How special to get a SECOND day in this incredible town. Not only home to the legendary Colossus, Rhodes old town is still the medieval fortress it once was. With a few minor changes. Instead of artillery and cannonballs (although they can still be seen) old Town is now home to streets full of life, dancing, food and artisan shops.

We walked the walls and the (now dry) moat! And Mailie (Sorry, princess Moana).... The definition of vibe. 😎😎😎
