Summer 2024

Walt Disney World is known for having phenomenal entertainment and shows. And they do a great job of keeping things fresh! But can you believe this drone show, featuring 800+ drones flying over Lake Buena Vista, only ran for one season?! It was such a great way to end an evening at Disney Springs.

Really hoping to see it return in the future 🫶🏻

Can you find the hidden mini statues?

🕵🏼‍♀️ This was one of my favorite activities in Budapest - searching for the miniature creations of guerrilla sculptor, Mihály Kolodko. The monuments have been popping up around the city since 2010 and each one has its own back story (though you’ll have to look it up on your own since there aren’t any plaques or signs near the statues).

For example, we spotted King Franz Joseph lounging in a hammock amidst the ironwork on Liberty Bridge. 🌉 We learned that the bridge was originally named Franz Joseph Bridge and was blown up by retreating German troops in WWII. It was the first bridge in Budapest to be rebuilt after the war and renamed Liberty Bridge at the time of its reconstruction in 1946.
