We had a lovely Sunday at Animal Kingdom for Spring . These are unofficial, but POPULAR, events where guests dress their best, usually with a Disney twist! The bounding is out in FORCE, and guests sometimes even take photos with each other! It’s a fun, friendly event, with some very creative guests. Today we saw everything from a woman dressed in full Kevin inspired bound with a blue dress and rainbow tulle, a service dog user who dressed in a full Cruella inspired ensemble and whose service dog was also in Dalmatian attire, and a full, lit up, sparkling TeFiti inspired gown. Among others!

And yes, our family of 3 will not be 3 for much longer now, as we are solidly in the second half of pregnancy at 24 weeks. So many more adventures to come!

Disney and other cruise lines know you’re worried, and you should be cautious about balconies in general! But in a cruise ship? Keep that top lock shut and unless your kid is Spider-Man then you’re probably golden. 💕
Other balcony tips/rules we have:
-The balcony top is always locked when we’re not out there
-If our balcony door is open then our kiddo can only go out with one of us.
-If she doesn’t listen on that, we lock the balcony and only go out while she’s asleep/napping
-We pull the furniture back against the wall of the balcony. I’ve also used a magnetic hook and secured the furniture to the wall so it can’t be pulled out. (It’s lightweight furniture)

If there is one upgrade that I consider 100% worth it on every Disney cruise and Walt Disney trip, it’s the phot package. Maybe it’s the hormones, but I get emotional looking through these photos. Shelby insisted on doing superhero or Spider-Man poses in nearly every one, because of course we were on a “Spider-Man boat”. Scroll through for some cuteness. These are honestly only the first 2 days and nowhere near all of the photos. I chose 10 favorites to share.

Yes, guest service carries a number of complimentary items that you may have forgotten. Small necessities. Such as sewing kit or a toothbrush. I’ve in fact already used this sewing kit one other time on board. Don’t rely on them for everything, but if you realize you forgot something it’s worth asking.
