I had the opportunity to tour newest ship, Brilliant Lady, last week. VV is a FUN, adults only cruise line. All of their restaurants are included with their packages (not something you see on every cruise line). It’s a ship filled with 3rd spaces, entertainment, and self entertainment opportunities. You can party all night or have a wellness journey aboard this ship. Or both if you’ve got the energy for it! PERFECT for that mixed extrovert/introvert couple. The brilliant lady is the only virgin ship that makes it to the west coast and we got to see aboard during their stop in SF last week. Are you interested in learning more about Virgin Voyages? My 9-5 brought me to central Florida a few weeks ago. I seized the day and took a “me” day in Disney World! If you know me…you know I like to do my own thing…and a solo day at DW was just what I needed! It’s the best with your kids but don’t sleep on that solo or adults visit!

What sparked my love of travel?
20 (TWENTY!?!??) years ago this year I hopped on an airplane bound for Australia. I spent 6 months visiting historical sights, observing nature's wonders, making friends, and showing the Aussies some of my American bball skills. That experience was a profound life experience for me, but it unlocked a sense of wanderlust that always lived inside me. This lead me to eventually have the confidence to move across the country not knowing a soul and leading me to the life I currently lead and cherish. I found that Mark Twain quote important enough to have its own page in my scrapbook, and I'm sure glad I did. No regrets, 20 years later.
