Meet Brian Collins next Friday! ☄️🌱💫

“If you can dream it, you can do it!” is an inspiring sentence that hides the hard part. Brian Collins spent his career on the hard part: as a Walt Disney Imagineer, building the stories behind some of the world’s most beloved attractions.

He now works as a global innovation consultant and is the author of a book “Creative Cross-Pollination: A Former Imagineer’s Take on the Innovation Process.” This technique is a powerful and entirely learnable habit: Putting two unrelated things side-by-side to create something entirely new.

Come for an amazing discussion of where ideas actually come from and learn how to apply this process to your work or your life!

Brian brings the Disney magic! As an innovation consultant, he helps people cross‑pollinate curiosity, courage, and connection to tackle big challenges.

So…Bring your fears, wins, questions, and curiosities for what promises to be the most supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Flourish Friday ever! 🎤🎉

Anyone at Epcot today? I’m just hanging out with my friend! 😁

Last week I had a chance to speak to two different groups in one day about my Imagineering exploits! First up in the morning were the students at Summit Elementary in Cincinnati, OH. I zoomed into two classes live and was so impressed with the great questions they had!

That evening it was off to the Mickey’s Fanatics Disney fan group located in The Villages. Was surprised that nearly 300 people showed up! Wasn't expecting that, but what a wonderful and welcoming group.

I really enjoy getting to not only talk about my work at Disney but more than that, connecting the dots about finding your passion in life!

There’s a storage cage that’s holding a few droids inside the “Build-Your-Own-Droid” factory within Galaxy’s Edge. If you happen to be fluent in Aurabesh, you’ll chuckle from the plaque on one of the gates.

If you know, or happen to decipher it, just say “yes” in the comments but don’t give it away! And if you’re still curious, you can Google the alphabet and find it easily online.
