Vin and his dad David were aboard today for a very early adventure in the fog. The fish were extremely cooperative! Vin caught his first striper and many more. Father and son doubled up three or four times, and David also caught a whopping Bluefish. It was great to meet you guys! I look forward to the next time!

Congratulations Nauset High School class of 25! (Go black and gold)To whoever decided to celebrate by releasing this slow moving bomb with potentially deadly consequences into our pristine marine ecosystem, F@ YOU! I pick up balloons offshore almost every day all summer.(so does every other charter captain I know) An entire under deck compartment on the boat is dedicated to their deflated remains. It is no longer fair to say education is the solution, everyone knows!! Six figure fines and mandatory jail time would start to solve the problem immediately. Nauset is one of the best school systems in the country, located on the outer Cape and totally surrounded by the sea. You all know better! Do better! Social media and AI make it possible to track down the person and location these balloons were released from. I have them here in my boat if you’d like to come on over and have a few for breakfast so you can empathize with a sea turtle staring up at the sky as it suffocates to death…….

Layla, Oliver, Sebastian and Justin were on deck today. A sketchy forecast proved to be completely wrong! Beautiful sunshine and the wind laid right down! I always have a great time with this crew on the boat, today was no exception! Thanks folks, see you next year!
