First, I learn how you want the wedding to feel and what kind of experience you want for your guests.

Then I help narrow down the cruise line, ship, itinerary, sailing date, and cabin options that make sense for your celebration.

Once the cruise is selected, the REAL group work begins.

Day 2: Mykonos 🇬🇷 Note for anyone planning this port: smaller ships can dock right at the city center, but Virgin doesn't count as small. It's medium-sized (not a megaship, but not tiny either), and even at that size we couldn't dock close.
Meant a 30-min uphill walk into town, no sidewalk, no easy. (There's a shuttle bus if you're smarter than us.) Payoff once we got there: white buildings, blue doors, windmills, Little Venice, exactly like the photos. Recovered with 2 hours on the iconic VV balcony hammock, then Chinese at Lucky Lotus for dinner. No show tonight, early night instead. Day 2 of 10 ✅

Twelve honeymoon quotes will not necessarily make your decision easier.

Usually, this creates twelve new tabs, twenty new questions, and one very tired bride.
OR maybe you think you need to get quotes from 5 different travel agents.
Let me tell you, this won't make things easier for you, just a tougher decision to make. Because now, not only do you need to decide on the best honeymoon option but now you need to decide on a travel agent? And guess what? We're all looking at the same sites and we don't like taking business away from other agents knowing how much work goes into proposals. Or at least that's how this travel agent looks at it.

You do not need every resort in the Caribbean presented to you.

You need a trusted professional to understand your priorities, eliminate the wrong options, and confidently explain why the remaining choices fit.

That is what decision relief looks like.

Fewer options.

Clear guidance.

One organized honeymoon plan that fits the way you want to travel.

River cruising is one of those things I get asked about often. People just don't understand it or they think it's just like an ocean cruise.

You unpack once.
You wake up in a new European city almost every day.
You’re not dealing with massive crowds.
You’re not spending half your trip figuring out trains, transfers, and logistics.
And depending on the cruise line, things like excursions, WiFi, beer, and wine may already be included.

For my busy professionals who want to see Europe without turning vacation into a planning project, river cruising can be such a smart option.

It’s slower.
Easier.
More intimate.
And way less overwhelming than trying to piece together every city, hotel, tour, and transfer on your own.

No, it’s not just for retirees.

And no, it’s not boring.

That little word "FROM" is HUGE when it comes to travel sites.
It means that price? It's for an inside cabin. No window. Possibly next to the laundry room. On deck 2, next to the crew. Plus, that's the BASE price, doesn't include anything.

By the time you add the cabin category you actually want, the balcony, the right deck, the location that doesn't make you seasick, that price looks very different.
This is exactly why having someone in your corner matters.
I already know which cabins are worth it and which ones you'll regret the second you walk in.
You shouldn't have to figure that out alone.

I know it’s cheaper. And I STILL wouldn’t book it. 😬
I’m talking about a **guarantee cabin on a cruise.**

A guarantee cabin sounds pretty good when you see that lower price.

You choose your general cabin category, but then...**The cruise line chooses your actual cabin.**

Your cabin location matters more than most first-time cruisers realize.

What deck are you on?
What’s above you? What’s below you?
Are you near an elevator?
Do you need to be near friends/family?

And here's the BIG one...is your view obstructed? You could literally have an entire tender boat right in front of your balcony so that IS your view!

Those are things I look at when I'm helping my clients choose their cruise cabin.

Could you book a guarantee cabin and end up perfectly happy? Absolutely.

But you’re giving up control of your cabin assignment in exchange for that lower price.

Sometimes the cheapest option isn't the option is NOT the best option. It could be a case of "you get what you pay for"

It cannot tell you which cabin category is actually worth the upgrade.
It cannot catch the error in your booking confirmation at 11pm the night before you sail.
It cannot negotiate when something goes wrong in a foreign port.
I CAN!

Here’s the truth nobody talks about…

Just because a resort is trending doesn’t mean it’s right for YOUR travel style.

That influencer may love:
🍹 A nonstop party atmosphere
🎶 Loud pool DJs all day
👯 Super social vibes
📸 Aesthetic photo spots over actual service

Plus, this person could have been paid to go to these resorts so of course, they're going to hype it up all day long.

Meanwhile… you may want:
✔️ Quiet luxury vibes
✔️ Amazing food
✔️ A peaceful adults-only atmosphere
✔️ A swim-up suite
✔️ Better service and less chaos
✔️ A resort that actually helps you relax

And this is exactly why so many people come home disappointed after spending thousands on a trip they thought they’d love.

Your vacation should fit YOUR personality, not someone else’s feed.

Before I recommend any resort or cruise, I look at:
• your travel style
• your priorities
• your budget
• your relationship dynamic
• your energy level
• what kind of experience you actually want

Because your PTO is too valuable to waste on the wrong vacation.
