Our Roaring Brook Double X Rex and Roaring Brook Pepper (owned by Brad Lodge) are 6 months old today, and they had their first day chasing a hare outside of a puppy pen. They looked like they’d been doing it their whole lives.

These two young hounds out of our litter we had In January put together an impressive day, covering around 10 miles with excellent check work and very few long breakdowns. For pups this young, I couldn’t be happier with their drive, nose, and determination.

I can’t wait to see what this season has in store for them. It won’t be long before they’re putting their first hare in the bag. The future is looking bright for these two young hounds!
