We have been asked by MODOT to share the following information regarding road work in Jefferson City:

The project to repair and overlay the U.S. Route 54 overpasses over U.S. Route 50 and McCarty Street in Jefferson City is set to start July 8. Starting July 15, the half-mile stretch of U.S. Route 54 from just south of the Missouri River bridges to Business U.S. 50 (Missouri Boulevard) will narrow to one lane, each direction. The first phase will reduce the eastbound Route 54 lane to 10 feet, while the westbound lane will be 15 feet wide. The speed limit will be reduced to 35 miles per hour through the work zone. During this phase, all ramps are expected to remain open.

Traffic delays on Route 54 could stretch for several miles at peak daily commute times and weekend travels. Those traveling from outside of the Jefferson City area to/from the Lake of the Ozarks region are encouraged to use an alternate route. However, those routes will vary - based on your starting point and destination.

Anyone know of any non smoker, pet free people looking for a six month rental? We are considering a six month lease for our three bedroom, two bath, furnished top floor condo with laundry. Just not sure what interest we might have in the off-season gir something in Osage Beach

I know I posted about this earlier, but the weather was so nice this fall we did not winterize our boat until very recently.

What's the market like for off-season long(er) term renters? We are considering renting our condo September through May, if there is demand. I know the real demand is year round but I am wondering if anyone local has any insight?
