We're looking to rent the whole property out first, but if we can't by the end of the week- we will separate the cabins.

It’s wild to think we’re preparing for our 6th season! Any idea what goes into opening Haven each May? Here’s a bit of a list…

Wash and sort all linens. Wash all dishes, pots and pans, utensils, etc. Touch up paint in the cabins. Install ACs. Wash windows, sills, and screens. Vacuum curtains. Replace window film. Scrub bathrooms. Replace shower curtains. Fill soaps. Vacuum and steam mop floors.

Clean grills, pull our patio furniture, take out deck boxes. Put up hammocks. Hang life jackets and floaties. Fix screens. Clean out firepit and move Adirondacks for beach grooming. Replace outdoor cameras. Set up patio chairs and tables. Put up outdoor shower. Power wash cabins.

Also deal with a plumbing company who messed up badly and ensure that the work gets done!

Please believe there is more than that! Details are important when welcoming back our favorite guests, and we want everyone to be happy!

It’s hard to believe it, but we’re up here opening for our SIXTH summer!

Cool driftwood washed up recently, but the real surprise is that our Swim at Your Own Risk sign is still perfect after 5 years 🤪🤪
