The City of Oswego is currently operating under a State of Emergency due to heavy lake effect snow. No unnecessary travel. Please avoid travel until the State of Emergency is lifted.

If travel is unavoidable, slow down, leave plenty of space between vehicles, and expect significantly longer stopping distances. Weather conditions can change rapidly.

Way to go Dylan!

Not all heroes wear capes 🦸‍♂️... some even drive a school bus! 🚌 Minetto bus driver Dylan Cohen jumped into action recently to save a choking student using the Heimlich maneuver. Dylan, a former Minetto student and Boy Scout, credits his quick thinking to the CPR and first aid skills he learned growing up. ⛑He said he was simply in the right place at the right time, but to the student who was in distress, his actions were truly heroic.
